REG wins Sahara Conference at the Bal

Rwanda Energy Group (REG) were crowned Conference champions after beating Ferroviario da Beira 89 - 74 on Tuesday. This was REG’s fourth win in five games. REG will play against the fourth team from the Nile Conference. Nshobozwabyosenumukiza, REG’s youngster, revealed that they are hopeful to play the final. “It’s a huge motivation for us. We’ve only lost one game, that means maybe we can win the [BAL] title,” Nshobozwa said. REG, Monastir, AS Sale, SLAC and other 4 teams which will qualify in the Nile Conference will be in Kigali for playoffs, scheduled on 21-28 March 2022.
