Our mission

• Communicate the Government’s priorities and programs 
• Work with ministries and agencies to tell Rwanda’s story
• Act as the main government stakeholder with local, regional and international media as well as other audiences who wish to learn more about Rwanda.
• Be the principal source of news and information related to the Government of Rwanda

• Present an accurate image of Rwanda to the world, through clarifying facts and showcasing the contributions of Rwanda in various fields
• Provide communications support to the Government of Rwanda and other entities
• Engage with local and international media outlets and respond to media enquiries through the OGS or by referring them to other government entities
• Showcase the government’s vision, policies and programme.
