On March 16, 2022, Minister Vincent Biruta participated in the 40th extraordinary session of the Ministerial Conference of La Francophonie which is taking place in Paris. During this first face-to-face meeting since the pandemic, the Ministers of the OIF member countries discussed the strengthening of democracy and security within the French-speaking world as well as the fight against fake news in the media and virtual space.
