Rwanda Day is a significant event that brings together Rwandans living abroad and those from the country. Attendees have the opportunity to engage with the President of the Republic, discuss national development, and enjoy cultural entertainment. Since its inception in 2011, Rwanda Day has consistently brought together between 2000 and 3000 Rwandans in one location. Rwanda Day serves to foster unity, dialogue, and collaboration among the global Rwandan community.

The event will take place in the Washington D.C area. The venue will be communicated soon.

The event's theme is “Rwanda: A Legacy of Inclusiveness within and beyond Our Borders”.

Registration is open on the official event website www.rwandaday.rw  . Follow the registration instructions provided on the website to secure your spot.

 Yes, the event is open to participants from around the world, including Friends of Rwanda.

Participants must provide valid identification, such as a passport, ID, or driver's license, during the registration process.

International attendees are encouraged to check visa requirements and make necessary travel arrangements in advance.

Yes, the event will feature prominent speakers and special guests including the President of the Republic of Rwanda, and other guests from various institutions both public and private. The full list will be published soon.

No, there is no fee for attendance. It's important to mention that participants are responsible for their accommodation expenses. However, complimentary lunch and snacks will be provided at the venue.

Rwanda Day has been hosted in cities worldwide, including Brussels, Chicago, Paris, Boston, London, Toronto, Atlanta, Dallas, Amsterdam, San Francisco, Ghent, and Bonn in Germany.

Although time is limited, you can submit your project to inforwandainusa@embassy.gov.rw  , and the organizing team will swiftly connect you with government officials and private sector representatives for discussions on your project.

Certainly! The event offers various networking opportunities, such as Business matchmaking sessions, exhibitions, entertainment, and meet-and-greet sessions.

Sure! We welcome volunteers! Reach out to us at  inforwandainusa@embassy.gov.rw , share a bit about yourself, and let us know where you'd like to contribute your time.

There are 29 formal Rwandan communities in the US, each with a dedicated leadership committee. For those in the US, you can connect with a community by sending an email to  inforwandainusa@embassy.gov.rw  , and you'll be linked with a community based on your location. Similarly, for those outside the US, connections will be facilitated based on your place. Note that this is optional.

Yes! The dress code offers flexibility, allowing attendees to choose between traditional attire or formal wear.

Certainly! Ensure to register them, as only approved participants with completed registrations will be granted entry.

Rwanda Day ni igikorwa gihuza abanyarwanda batuye mu mahanga n’ababa mu Rwanda. Abitabira iri huriro, babona amahirwe yo kuganira na Perezida wa Repubulika ku ngingo zitandukanye z’iterambere ry’igihugu, bakidagadura, bagasabana bijyanye n’umuco nyarwanda. .

 

Kuva Rwanda Day yatangira muri 2011, yagiye yitabirwa n’abari hagati ya 2000 na 3000. Intego ya Rwanda Day ni uguteza imbere ubumwe, ibiganiro n’ubufatanye bw’abanyarwanda aho batuye hose ku isi.
